This application allows for the electronic prescribing of compounded pet medications at Elements Compounding Pharmacy
Please follow these steps to start prescribing:
1. Register
- Please click on the Register button and enter the required information. The site allows for two types of registration:
- If you are a prescribing veterinarian, please enter your name and practice information.
- If you are a veterinary technician or a staff member, authorized to submit prescriptions on behalf of one or more veterinarians, please enter the requested information for the prescribers who have given you authorization to submit prescriptions. Please note that if you enter multiple prescribers, they must practice at the same veterinary practice.
Separate registrations are required for veterinarians practicing at multiple practices.

Following registration, your information will be reviewed after which you will receive an email stating that your registration has been approved.

You can now use the portal to prescribe!
2. Prescribe Now
- Select the “Prescribe Now” button on the home page.
- Locate the drug and the dosage form being prescribed in the list of available drugs and select it.
- Review the information available on the selected product page. Helpful information which may be of help when prescribing includes:
- Minimum and maximum medication strengths we offer
- Beyond use date after compounding
- Available flavors
- Any other information specific to the particular medication
- Select the “Prescribe Now” button on the Product page.
- Enter the required information to complete the prescription order.
- Select the prescriber name from the drop-down list at the bottom of the template.
- Type your name in the e-signature box to sign virtually and hit “Submit.”
3. You are done!
- A pharmacy staff member will contact the pet owner when the prescription is ready for pick up.

- Within the drug profile, you have the option to get a price quote!
- You can also review and print the prescriptions you have submitted by clicking on the “Prescription History” link at the top.
Refill Authorizations
- You can REFILL a previously submitted prescription by accessing it within the Prescription History.
